*Please note that Bramcote Surgery opening times during July will be –
We are happy to announce that our Spondon Surgery is reopening on Tuesdays only from the 7th July*
Further to some shops and premises opening to the public this week we wanted to explain how we are working at Ashfield House.
Due to the nature of our work it is always extremely difficult for us to be able successfully socially distance from colleagues whilst continuing to care for the animals (holding animals for blood tests etc).
Also due to the layout of our building it makes it hard to distance effectively within our consulting rooms. We always want to carry out the most thorough consultation and examination which normally lasts over 15 minutes. With the addition of the new track and trace rules from the government this adds another concern for us regarding our staffing levels.
We have several staff who have been shielding family members.
Our employees are highly trained, and it would be difficult to staff the practices efficiently if we were to have staff members becoming unwell or needing to isolate.
We want all our staff to be able to work so we can provide the best care possible for all your animals.
For all these reasons we are going to continue to be examining and treating the animals in the building and asking clients to remain outside and we will take all relevant information from you over the phone.
We understand that this is not perfect but feel that at this time this is the best approach for us to be taking to ensure we can be there for your pets.
We thank you for your patience at this unusual time and we will keep you updated of any changes.

We are so proud of our Vet of the Year Finalist Ben at the Petplan Vet Awards 2020
We want to reassure our clients that according to all experts’ opinion and science COVID19 virus spread from human to human and animals do not spread it
