If you and your pet find yourself in an emergency situation during our opening hours, please call ahead to advise us that you are attending the practice so that we can ensure we are ready for your arrival.
If you have an emergency outside of our opening hours, please call us on 0115 9727050. We will advise you on how to proceed.
Our dedicated out of hours team run our 24-hour emergency service from our hospital in Long Eaton, which is fully equipped with all amenities, including blood testing equipment, x-ray and ultrasound.
Our team is extremely experienced in dealing with all manner of emergencies, both medical and surgical, and we have team members who hold additional qualifications in many areas, including emergency medicine and critical care.
Our out of hours team integrates with our day team, as cases are handed over in the mornings and evenings. This means that none of our clients have to travel to other out-of-hours clinics further away, nor have to travel back for daytime care to be continued.
Out-of-hours clinics start at 7pm and continue through to 8am. All services are payable on collection of your pet, but some emergency procedures may necessitate an upfront payment depending on the situation.
